ACME Solar Holdings has secured ₹1,571 crore in long-term project financing from India Infrastructure Finance Company (IIFCL) for developing its 300 MW assured peak power project in Rajasthan. The financing carries a 19-year repayment tenure, with IIFCL acting as the project’s sole lender.
According to the company, this is IIFCL’s first standalone greenfield financing for an ACME Solar project. The latest funding takes ACME Solar’s total financing secured during the current financial year to ₹10,976 crore.
The project has a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of ₹6.28 per unit. It will combine solar generation with a 1,350 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), enabling the plant to provide assured peak power under the PPA.
The project is being developed entirely within Rajasthan, further strengthening the state’s role in ACME Solar’s growing portfolio of hybrid renewable-energy projects.
ACME Solar has a diversified renewable-energy portfolio of 8,370 MW, covering solar, wind, hybrid, storage and firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects. Its operational contracted capacity stands at 2,990 MW, while 5,380 MW of contracted capacity is under construction.
The company reported strong financial growth in June 2026, with consolidated net profit rising 79.87% to ₹235.33 crore, while sales increased 67.81% to ₹857.48 crore year-on-year.
