Adani Arm to Invest ₹100+ Cr in 3,400 EV Chargers.

Adani TotalEnergies E-mobility Limited (ATEL), a rapidly expanding subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited, has made significant strides in building India's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Over the past 18 months, ATEL has invested approximately ₹100 crore to install an impressive 3,400 EV charging points across the nation.

The company has ambitious plans for further expansion, aiming to add another 2,000 charging points to its network within the current year. This aggressive rollout underscores ATEL's commitment to becoming a key player in India's burgeoning EV ecosystem.

In a short span, ATEL has already established itself as the leading Airport Charge Point Operator in India and is actively developing a widespread network of EV charging stations throughout the country.

During the Q4 earnings call for Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL), Suresh P Manglani, ED & CEO of ATGL, highlighted ATEL's rapid progress: "ATEL has expanded its footprint now to 3,401 installed EV charging points, of which a total of 2,338 EV charging points have been energised and opened to the public. We are spread across 26 states and 230 cities." Notably, ATEL commissioned a substantial 1,759 charging points in the last financial year alone, demonstrating the speed and scale of its deployment efforts. This expansion is crucial in addressing the charging infrastructure gap and encouraging wider adoption of electric vehicles across India.
