Adani Green Energy Boosts Capacity with New Wind Power Project in Gujarat.

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced recently that its subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd, has commissioned a 57.2 MW wind power component for its wind-solar hybrid project in Khavda, Gujarat.

This development boosts AGEL's total operational renewable energy capacity to 11,666.1 MW, according to a regulatory filing.

The newly commissioned plant will be operational and commence power generation on January 15, 2025, following the required clearances, the company stated.

The wind power component is part of AGEL’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio, aligning with its commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The Khavda project represents a significant step in enhancing India’s renewable energy infrastructure.
