Adani Green Energy to Power Uttar Pradesh with 400 MW of Rajasthan Solar.

Adani Green Energy Sixty Nine Limited, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) to supply 400 megawatts (MW) of solar power.

The agreement, executed on Saturday as per a regulatory filing by AGEL, will see the power generated from Adani Green Energy Sixty Nine's grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power project, which will be developed in the state of Rajasthan, being supplied to UPPCL.This development marks a significant step for Adani Green Energy in expanding its renewable energy footprint and contributing to Uttar Pradesh's growing power needs with clean energy. The project in Rajasthan will further solidify the company's position as a major player in India's solar power sector.
