Adani Group Eyes ₹80,000-Crore Projects in Odisha, Holds Talks on Nuclear and Clean Energy.

Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd CEO Karan Adani recently met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo to discuss the Adani Group’s ongoing and proposed projects in the state, including plans for nuclear power projects.

Accompanied by a team, Adani held discussions with Majhi on opportunities for industrial collaboration and infrastructure development, with the meeting focusing on projects proposed by the Adani Group in Odisha, sources said.

According to an official release issued by the Odisha government, the meeting with Singh Deo focused on accelerating the development of clean energy infrastructure, including pumped storage plants (PSPs), solar power generation and nuclear power projects.

The discussions centred on strengthening Odisha’s long-term energy security, improving grid reliability and advancing the state’s sustainable energy development goals, the release said.

The proposed projects are part of the Adani Group’s broader plans to expand its presence across Odisha’s infrastructure and energy sectors.
