Adani Group to Invest ₹3,500 Crore in Two Major Projects in Madhya Pradesh.

The Adani Group has announced a ₹3,500 crore investment to develop two major projects in Madhya Pradesh. Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ, revealed the plans at an industry conclave in Gwalior on Wednesday. The investment will fund the construction of a 2 million tonne per annum cement grinding unit in Guna and a propellant production plant in Shivpuri.

The Shivpuri facility aligns with the government’s strategy to boost India’s defense exports. Both projects are expected to generate over 3,500 direct and indirect jobs. This new investment adds to the Adani Group’s existing contributions of more than ₹18,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh, spanning sectors such as cement, defense, roads, thermal power, renewable energy, and transmission.

Earlier this month, Ambuja Cement, a group company, announced a ₹1,600 crore investment for a six million tonne per annum grinding unit in Warisaliganj, Bihar. Adani Cement, now the second-largest cement producer in India, aims to increase its production capacity to 140 million tonnes by 2028, up from its current capacity of around 80 million tonnes.
