Aerospace Major Collins Opens New Operations Centre at Devanahalli Aerospace Park.

Aerospace major Collins Aerospace has inaugurated its Collins India Operations Centre, developed within the KIADB Aerospace Park at Devanahalli.

At the launch event, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said the company’s $25 million investment would generate over 2,000 skilled jobs across research, development, and advanced manufacturing.

“Karnataka contributes nearly 65 per cent to India’s aerospace and defence sector. World-class aerospace and defence parks are being developed in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Mysuru, Tumakuru, and Chamarajanagar,” the Chief Minister said.

The new facility strengthens Karnataka’s position as the country’s leading hub for aerospace innovation and advanced manufacturing.
