AESL Order Book Triples to ₹54,700 Crore in Current Fiscal.

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), India’s largest electricity transmission and distribution company, has reported a substantial growth in its order book, reaching ₹54,700 crore by the third quarter of FY25. This marks a threefold increase from ₹17,000 crore at the beginning of the fiscal year in April 2024.

The surge is attributed to AESL securing two significant transmission projects worth ₹28,455 crore in Rajasthan, linked to a renewable energy park. The standout order among these is the ₹25,000-crore Bhadla-Fatehpur HVDC project, the largest order in AESL's history, according to a report by Jefferies.

These achievements have boosted AESL's market share in tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) orders to 24%, up from 17% in the second quarter. The company now holds the highest order book among private sector transmission firms in India.

AESL’s growth aligns with its strategy to strengthen its presence in renewable energy transmission, solidifying its leadership in India's energy sector.
