"Allcargo Terminals expands JNPA-linked CFS capacity to 3.6 lakh TEUs/year."
Multimodal logistics operator Allcargo Terminals Ltd, a subsidiary of the Allcargo Group, on Tuesday said it has expanded the capacity of its container freight station (CFS) facility near Jawaharlal Nehru Port in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to 3.6 lakh TEUs annually from 1.90 lakh TEUs.
The significant capacity addition reflects the company’s growth strategy and its focus on strengthening infrastructure to support India’s export-import (EXIM) trade, Allcargo Terminals said.
The expansion is also a key element of the company’s three-year strategic plan, which is centred on scaling operations, increasing digitisation and enhancing infrastructure across its nationwide network.
