Alstom Bharat Forge Power Limited has won a Rs.1,570 crore turbine contract from NTPC

Alstom Bharat Forge Power Limited has won a Rs.1,570 crore contract to supply turbine islands to the National Thermal Power Corporation

The project contract envisagesr supply of 11 units of 660 MW super critical turbine generator islands.

The new order is for NTPC's coal-based power plant in Solapur, Maharashtra.

Alstom Bharat Forge Power is also expected to get an additional contract for three units of 660 MW for the Nabinagar site from Nabinagar Power Generating Company, a joint venture between NTPC and Bihar State Electricity Board.
