AMTZ Welcomes Imeds Global's New Medical Device Facility in Visakhapatnam.

Imeds Global Private Limited ("iMeds"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Avantel Limited, has established a new facility dedicated to the design, development, and manufacturing of medical products at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) in Visakhapatnam.

The state-of-the-art facility spans 2 acres of land with a built-up area of approximately 25,000 sq. ft. It is fully equipped with essential infrastructure, including clean rooms, assembly lines, and testing capabilities, specifically tailored for medical product manufacturing. The facility is slated to begin operations on June 15, 2025.

This launch marks a significant expansion into the healthcare technology domain for Avantel, aiming to deliver affordable, quality, and indigenous healthcare solutions. The initiative is a strategic step in Avantel's diversification efforts and strongly supports the "Make in India" initiative by focusing on developing cost-effective medical equipment.
