Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Clears ₹34,000 Crore Investment Proposals.
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved new investments worth ₹34,000 crore across multiple sectors, giving formal clearance to proposals earlier sanctioned by the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB).
The investments span clean energy, manufacturing, tourism, infrastructure and other key sectors, and are expected to generate around 35,000 jobs in the state.
The Cabinet meeting, held in Amaravati on Tuesday and chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, also approved 80 agenda items.
Among the key decisions was the approval to increase the retirement age of employees in public sector units, societies and corporations from 60 to 62 years.
