Andhra Pradesh Clears ₹9,076 Crore Investment Plans Through SIPB.
The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) on Tuesday approved investment proposals involving a total outlay of ₹9,076 crore across various sectors.
The projects were cleared at a SIPB meeting chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati and are expected to create more than 10,000 employment opportunities, according to the state government.
The tourism and hospitality sector accounted for several of the approved projects. These include DSR Hospitality Services’ ₹139 crore four-star hotel in Nellore, Madhavi Leisure & Stays’ ₹52 crore three-star hotel project in YSR Kadapa, Srinivasam Amusement Pvt. Ltd.’s ₹68.69 crore integrated amusement park in Kadapa, and Vajra Hospitality LLP’s ₹62 crore hotel, banquet and exhibition centre in Vijayawada.
The approvals are part of Andhra Pradesh’s efforts to attract fresh investments across industries and promote employment generation in the state.
