Andhra Pradesh SIPB Sanctions ₹29,021 Crore for Industrial and Infrastructure Projects.
The 15th meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, recently approved 27 new project proposals with a combined investment of ₹29,021 crore.
Since its inception, SIPB has cleared projects totaling ₹9,03,726 crore, which are expected to create employment for 8.58 lakh people across the state.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister urged officials to implement the “Speed of Doing Business” policy as a guiding framework for all industrial project-related matters. He noted that mega projects from global companies, including Google, ArcelorMittal, and BPCL, are in the pipeline.
He also directed the formation of a ministers’ committee to monitor land allotment to companies, emphasizing that approvals should be revoked if a company fails to commence work, according to an official release.
