ANSR Signs Pact with Maharashtra Government to Set Up Global Capability Centre in Navi Mumbai.

ANSR has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Government to develop a dedicated Global Capability Center (GCC) City in Navi Mumbai. The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis earlier today.

The move comes shortly after the Maharashtra cabinet approved a new GCC Policy on September 30, 2025, aimed at accelerating the state’s position as a hub for global enterprises.

As part of the agreement, ANSR will lead the conceptualisation, design, and investment in the infrastructure for the upcoming GCC City. In turn, the state government will support the project by identifying suitable land, ensuring inter-departmental coordination, and facilitating policy-level clearances.

Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR, said the initiative aims to establish Maharashtra as the "GCC capital of India," citing the state's AI-ready talent pool as a strong draw for global corporations looking to set up innovation and capability centres in India.
