AP CM Naidu: Sri City Poised for Increased Global Investments.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has highlighted the significant potential for industrial investments in Sri City, a prominent economic zone located in Tirupati district. Speaking to industry leaders in the zone, Naidu emphasized Sri City's strategic location near Tirupati, Krishnapatnam Port, and Chennai as key factors making it an attractive site for a wide range of industries.

Naidu noted that Sri City is well-equipped with infrastructure to support both residential and business needs. “We are working towards making this the premier economic zone for businesses and are also aiming for a Golden Rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC),” he said.

Sri City, recognized as one of India’s top business hubs, has attracted over $4.5 billion in investments and has seen exports surpass $4 billion. The zone includes a multiproduct Special Economic Zone (SEZ), a Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ), a Free Trade & Warehousing Zone (FTWZ), and an Electronics Manufacturing Cluster.

The industrial park has drawn substantial global interest, with 220 companies from 30 countries establishing their manufacturing operations in the area.
