AP Government Allots 100 Acres to Virupaksha Organics in Orvakal.

The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated 100 acres of land in Orvakal, Kurnool, to Hyderabad-based Virupaksha Organics for a Greenfield manufacturing facility, marking a major investment of ₹1,225 crore.

The land allotment, approved in the IP Guttapadu Cluster at the Orvakal Node, will enable the company to set up a facility for producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and organic chemicals. The project is expected to generate around 1,500 direct jobs, along with significant indirect employment opportunities in logistics, utilities, and ancillary services, boosting the region’s industrial and economic landscape.
