AP Govt to Sign $10-Billion MoU with Google for Data Centre in Visakhapatnam.

The Andhra Pradesh Government is set to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Google recently in New Delhi to establish a 1-gigawatt hyperscale data centre in Visakhapatnam, with an investment of approximately $10 billion.

The MoU signing ceremony will take place in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw, and senior management officials from Google.

This upcoming data centre campus will be one of Google's largest projects in Asia and will feature the deployment of Google's full AI stack to drive AI-powered transformation across India.
