Arada Announces $3.8 Billion Residential Development in Riyadh, Creating Major Construction Opportunities
UAE-based real estate developer Arada has announced a SAR 14 billion ($3.8 billion) residential development in Riyadh, marking its entry into Saudi Arabia through the newly established Arada KSA, formed in partnership with XTOPIA. The project will be developed in the Al Rimal district of northeastern Riyadh, supporting the Kingdom’s expanding housing and urban development sector.
Spread across approximately 2.5 million square metres, the master-planned community will feature around 3,500 villas and townhouses, complemented by schools, retail outlets, community facilities, sports amenities and extensive landscaped spaces incorporating 100,000 trees.
Construction is scheduled to commence in mid-2027, with completion targeted over approximately five years. The development will be financed through a Capital Market Authority-regulated investment structure.
The project is expected to create substantial opportunities for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors, residential construction companies, infrastructure developers and suppliers of building materials, mechanical and electrical systems, landscaping solutions and utility networks.
Arada KSA also has access to a wider Saudi land portfolio valued at SAR 50 billion, covering strategic locations including Riyadh, Jeddah and Makkah.
The investment reinforces Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 housing objectives while establishing a significant pipeline of construction and procurement opportunities.
