Ashok Hotels to be expanded

New Delhi: The state-owned India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Ashok brand of hotels will expand its presence.

It signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with six hotels premises in various cities including Kolkata, Manesar, Jodhpur and Nagpur.

The agreements have been signed for three-five star hotels. The agreements inked are under the Ashok Alliance scheme of Hotels which allows its member hotels to suffix ‘Ashok’ to their name.

Under the MoU will a five-star Ashok branded airport hotel will come up in Kolkata.
