AU bags 3 research projects.

The Department of Meteorology and Oceanography, Andhra University bagged three research projects worth ₹1 crore.

Principal investigator K.V.S.R. Prasad said the three projects from Space Applications Centre, Naval Research Board have societal importance.

The first project focuses on coastal waters, the second one is on the NASA and ISRO satellite launch and the third one on the sound propagation of the shallow regions of oceans.

Prof. Prasad said these projects have been sanctioned by the funding agencies of ISRO and NRB.
