"AVG Logistics Ltd acquires land in Tahliwal, HP, for a new warehouse and support unit."

AVG Logistics Limited has acquired a land parcel measuring 2,295 square metres at Tahliwal in Una dist of Himachal Pradesh for the development of a warehouse and ancillary facilities, the company said recently.

The land is located close to the Nestlé factory at Tahliwal and offers access to strong infrastructure, connectivity and manpower. The acquisition aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of capacity expansion and regional diversification and is expected to strengthen its footprint in North India.

AVG Logistics currently provides logistics services to Nestlé India in Tahliwal. The company said the proposed facility would enable it to offer value-added services to Nestlé India as well as other customers in the region.

According to the company, the investment is expected to improve cost efficiency due to its proximity to key infrastructure and supply chains, while enhancing its asset base and long-term value. The development of the warehouse and ancillary unit will be undertaken in a phased manner, subject to statutory approvals and regulatory clearances.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director Sanjay Gupta said the land acquisition was a strategic move in the company’s growth journey, adding that the location near a major industrial hub in Una would provide significant operational advantages and support sustainable and scalable growth over the long term.
