Azad Engineering Secures ₹52.68 Crore Gas Turbine Blades Contract from BHEL

Hyderabad, Telangana: Azad Engineering Limited has secured a two-year long-term rate contract worth approximately ₹52.68 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for supplying critical components used in heavy-duty gas turbines.

The contract covers stationary and rotating airfoils, including stator vanes and rotor blades, supporting BHEL's efforts to indigenise power-generation equipment.

Azad Engineering has been approved as a long-term supplier, with contract execution scheduled through 9 October 2028.

The company disclosed the agreement to stock exchanges on 12 October 2026, following an earlier similar arrangement in May 2026.

The order strengthens Azad Engineering's position in precision manufacturing and India's domestic power equipment supply chain.
