Bajel Projects Wins Major Power Transmission and Substation Orders in India.

Bajel Projects Limited, a leading player in power transmission and distribution solutions and a part of the Bajaj Group, has announced the receipt of several key orders for power transmission infrastructure projects in India, with a collective value exceeding ₹400 crores. The new orders, received from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and Inergy Infra Private Limited, reinforce Bajel's position as a trusted partner in the power sector.

The contract from PGCIL, on behalf of their Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) M/s "Kurnool-IV Power Transmission Limited," involves the construction of a 765kV Double Circuit (D/C) transmission line from Kurnool IV to Kurnool III PS in Andhra Pradesh. This project is part of the Transmission System for Integration of Kurnool-IV REZ-Phase-I, aimed at supporting 4.5GW of renewable energy capacity. The project is expected to be completed within 23 months.

Additionally, Bajel has secured two projects from Inergy Infra Private Limited, Pune, for the evacuation of power from a 550MW solar-wind hybrid power plant located in Beed, Maharashtra. These projects include the construction of a 400kV transmission system and a 400kV new AIS substation. Both projects are set for completion within 12 months.
