Balochistan gets Rs 200-mn for 13 road schemes

Quetta: The provincial government has allocated Rs 200 million in PSDP 2008-09 in order to complete 13 road schemes in various parts of the province.

Of the total allocated amount Rs 8.5 million have been allocated for blacktopping Lindsay to Machi Inam and Chander Ghazi Link road, Rs 19 million for construction of Domyara Dozakh Tangi Road, Rs 20 million for the construction of structures on Lehri Sangsillah Dera Bugti Road and Rs 20 million for construction and blacktopping of Khuzdar-Naal road.

Similarly, Rs 14 million would be spent on construction of bridge over Chander Ghazi Road, Rs 19 million on blacktopping of Mangochar to Johan Road, Rs 10 million on construction and blacktopping of Dhadar-Sunny Shoran, Rs 10 million on blacktopping of Dera Murad Jamali to Chethar, Rs 18 million on the construction of Dali-Washuk road and Rs 22 million on construction and blacktopping of link roads in sub-division Bela. The construction of these roads would not only usher in development of the respective areas but also play an important role in promoting agriculture.
