BCCL Floats ₹348.93 Crore Tender for Bhowra Underground Coal Mine Development in Jharkhand

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has invited bids for the development, construction and operation of the Bhowra Combine Underground Coal Mine in Jharkhand, involving an estimated tender value of ₹348.93 crore.

The proposed contract covers comprehensive underground mine development, construction of associated mining infrastructure, deployment of machinery and equipment, and coal extraction operations.

The project aims to strengthen BCCL's coal production capabilities and support the availability of domestic coking coal for India's steel and industrial sector, The tender was reported on November 4, 2026, with the bid submission deadline scheduled for January 27, 2027.
