Bengaluru Welcomes Rolls-Royce 700-Seat Global Capability Centre.

British aerospace and defence giant Rolls-Royce has officially opened a 700-seat Global Capability and Innovation Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, marking one of the company's largest facilities worldwide. The new centre will serve as a hub for the company’s global digital capabilities and enterprise services teams, as well as support engineering operations for Rolls-Royce’s Civil Aerospace and Defence divisions, thereby bolstering its presence in India.

The facility aligns with Rolls-Royce’s broader strategy to double its sourcing from India over the next five years, aiming to accelerate the integration of Indian suppliers into its global supply chain network.

During the inauguration, Karnataka’s Large and Medium Industries Minister, M.B. Patil, highlighted the state’s proactive efforts to promote aerospace and defence investments through progressive policies, improved infrastructure, and ease-of-doing-business initiatives. “Our government is committed to being a trusted partner in building technologies of global relevance,” he stated.
