Boeing Eyes Next Growth Phase in Aerospace Electronics and Avionics Manufacturing.

Boeing has identified aerospace electronics and avionics manufacturing as the next growth phase for India’s aerospace sector, aligning with the country’s focus on semiconductors and advanced manufacturing, the company said.

According to Salil Gupte, President of Boeing India, the shift reflects the maturing US-India partnership in aerospace industrialisation, moving beyond component sourcing to high-value system manufacturing. Speaking to BusinessLine, Gupte noted that Boeing’s engagement in India extends beyond aircraft sales to include industrial capability building, supplier development, training, and maintenance infrastructure, with the US remaining the cornerstone of the company’s global operations.

He added that India’s unique talent and supply chain strengths, along with capabilities in other international markets, help meet local needs while enhancing Boeing’s global operations and driving industry advancements.
