Bondada Engineering Wins ₹816 Crore NTPC Limited Solar Order.

Bondada Engineering Limited has secured an ₹816 crore order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for Balance of System (BOS) works for a 600 MW Solar PV project at Fatehgarh, further strengthening its position in India’s renewable energy sector.

The Hyderabad-based company said it received the Notification of Award over the weekend. The contract includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works, along with three years of operations and maintenance services. The project is scheduled to be completed within 16 months.

This marks the second major order secured by Bondada from the NTPC Group, taking the company’s cumulative order inflow from the group to around ₹1,207 crore. The combined capacity of projects awarded by NTPC Group entities now stands at nearly 1 GW.

Following the latest order win, Bondada Engineering’s total Solar EPC order book has expanded to approximately 5.3 GWp, reflecting robust demand for large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects.

The order comes on the back of strong financial performance in FY 2025-26. The company reported total revenue of ₹2,843 crore, compared with ₹1,571 crore in the previous fiscal year, registering a year-on-year growth of 81 per cent.

Net profit for the year stood at ₹211 crore, driven by growth across the company’s three key business verticals — renewable energy, telecom, and railways.
