Brigade Group Signs JDA for ₹1,000 Crore Residential Project in West Chennai.

Bengaluru-based real estate developer Brigade Enterprises Limited has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for a 6.6-acre land parcel in West Chennai, with the project expected to generate a Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹1,000 crore.

Planned as a premium residential development, the project aims to cater to Chennai’s growing demand for modern urban living. Strategically located along a key arterial corridor, the site offers strong connectivity to the city’s industrial zones and peripheral business districts, making it ideal for an integrated, future-ready community, the company said in a release.

“Chennai is our second-largest market, and this joint venture is a key step in deepening our presence and expanding our portfolio in the city,” said Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises. “Chennai’s real estate market is on a strong growth trajectory, driven by robust infrastructure and sustained demand from both end-users and investors.”

She added that the project aligns with Brigade’s strategy of acquiring marquee land parcels in high-potential locations to deliver high-quality, integrated residential communities.
