Brigade Group to Invest ₹1,500 Crore in Kerala, Signs MoU.
Brigade Group has announced plans to invest ₹1,500 crore in Kerala over the next five years, with projects expected to generate employment for around 12,000 people.
At the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025, the company submitted an Expression of Interest in the presence of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, outlining its expansion plans in the state.
Expansion Plans Across Kerala
Brigade Enterprises Ltd, the group’s flagship company, will develop its second World Trade Centre (WTC) in Kerala, following its first in Kochi. The company also plans a residential project in Kochi and a luxury island resort in Vaikom, both set for completion by 2030.
Last month, Brigade signed an MoU with Technopark to develop a WTC in Thiruvananthapuram, with 1.5 million sq ft of infrastructure, spread across multiple towers. Additionally, the company has initiated expansion of WTC Kochi in Infopark, adding a third tower, increasing its IT infrastructure to over one million sq ft.
Strengthening Kerala’s IT and Tourism Sectors
According to Vineet Verma, Managing Director, WTC Trades & Projects Pvt Ltd, Kerala remains a key focus for Brigade Group across commercial, IT office space, hospitality, and residential sectors.
“The state has shown significant growth potential in recent years and is already an established hub for IT/ITES and tourism. These developments will further boost overall demand,” Verma said.
Brigade’s upcoming investments reaffirm Kerala’s growing appeal as a business and investment destination, particularly in the IT and hospitality sectors.
