Brigade Hotel Ventures Plans ₹1,000 Crore Expansion of Hotel Portfolio in Karnataka.

Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited plans to invest around ₹1,000 crore in Karnataka over the next five years as part of its expansion strategy focused on experiential tourism and premium hospitality markets.

The announcement coincides with the 10th anniversary celebrations of Grand Mercure Mysuru, the company’s flagship property in Mysuru.

The company said the planned investment will be used for developing new hotel projects and modernising existing hospitality assets across the state. Under its broader “Vision 2031” growth roadmap, Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited aims to add nearly 1,700 room keys over the next five years with a total capital expenditure of around ₹3,600 crore.

Nirupa Shankar, Managing Director of the company, said Mysuru has evolved from a weekend tourism destination into a strong business and heritage hub. She added that the success of the Mysuru property has given the company the operational confidence and financial framework to expand aggressively across Karnataka.
