Burkert Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Pune, Aims to Expand India Portfolio.

Burkert Fluid Control Systems India Private Limited has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, enhancing its global operations and meeting the growing demand in the Indian market. The state-of-the-art plant, located in Talegaon MIDC Phase 2, spans 50,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced machining, assembly, and testing centres. This facility will play a key role in Burkert's strategy to localize production and strengthen its presence in India.

The new unit has an annual production capacity of over 30,000 valves and 500 systems. It will initially produce Mass Flow Controllers, Angle Seat Valves, Diaphragm Valves, and System Solutions, with plans for phased expansion to meet the needs of various industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, and food and beverage sectors.

This facility is expected to enhance Burkert's service delivery, bring the company closer to its customers, and create local job opportunities. Burkert, headquartered in Ingelfingen, Germany, is a global leader in fluid control systems and operates in over 30 countries with a product portfolio of more than 30,000 solutions for industries ranging from medical to aerospace.
