"CANEUS and Maharashtra Govt to launch global Mid-TRL innovation center in Mumbai."

Canada-based CANEUS International has entered into a strategic partnership with the Maharashtra government to establish what it said would be the world’s first dedicated Mid-Technology Readiness Level (Mid-TRL) Institute in Mumbai.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed here in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and CANEUS Chairman Milind Pimprikar.

According to CANEUS, the proposed institute will focus on mid-TRL innovation, acceleration and skill development in frontier technologies, including aerospace, space, energy and deeptech. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the innovation ecosystem by bridging the gap between early-stage research and large-scale commercial deployment, the organisation said in a statement.
