Caretel wins MTNL GSM call centre deal

Mumbai: BPO services provider Caretel, a Dalmia group firm, has won a two-year contract from state-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) for managing the call centre of MTNL.

Under the deal, Caretel will manage in-bound call centre operations for MTNL’s GSM services in Mumbai, and offer multi-lingual voice and data support through its call centre. The contract is for an initial 200 seats.

It will also provide billing support, outbound calling for lead generation, telemarketing and billing reminders for MTNL subscribers.
