Ceigall India Wins ₹2,160 Crore Highway Contract from NHAI

Ceigall Infra Projects, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, has secured a road project worth about ₹2,160 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The company said it received the Letter of Award on February 11 for the construction of a four-lane highway in Bihar under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).

The project involves the four-laning of the 78.942-km Sahebganj–Areraj–Bettiah section of National Highway 139W. The stretch will be developed in two segments - a 38.362-km section between Sahebganj and Areraj, and a 40.580-km section between Areraj and Bettiah.

Ceigall Infra Projects will execute the project over a construction period of 730 days. The contract also includes a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period following completion of construction.

The project has been awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Model, a public-private partnership framework in which the government and the developer share project costs and associated risks.
