Chhattisgarh to set up food processing park in Raipur district.

Chhattisgarh is setting up a 150 hectare mega food processing park at Dhamtari in Raipur district. The State Government arm Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. has taken up the Rs. 150 crore project.

Sunil Mishra, Managing Director of CSIDC, said here on Tuesday that all relevant permissions have been obtained for the park.

'The construction work for the park would begin within the next two months,' Mishra added.

He was speaking to reporters after a road show for attracting investment to Chhattisgarh food processing sector. Mishra said two other food parks are also coming up in the State through private initiatives.
