China willing to partner in proposed Andhra Pradesh manufacturing zone.

China has come forward to partner in the one of the proposed National Investment and Manufacturing Zones (NIMZ) to be set up in Andhra Pradesh, Union Commerce Minister Anand Sharma said.

China would provide both technical and investment support for one of the NIMZs, proposed in Chittoor, Medak and Prakasam districts, the Union Minister told Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy during a meeting.

Each NIMZ was expected to attract an investment of Rs. 30,000 crore.
