Choice's Subsidiary Wins 45MW Solar Plant Project in Maharashtra.

Choice Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (CCSPL), a leading consulting firm and wholly-owned subsidiary of Choice International Ltd, has been awarded a mandate by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) to develop a 45 MW (AC) solar plant under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0), part of the PM-KUSUM scheme aimed at feeder-level solarisation across Maharashtra.

As the strategic consulting partner, Choice will provide end-to-end advisory services for project structuring, compliance management, and supervision across 18 substations in Maharashtra. The company will also oversee the installation of associated 11kV or 22kV lines and manage testing and commissioning activities. The project will operate under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) framework and is expected to support decentralized solar generation for agricultural feeders.

Arun Poddar, CEO of Choice International Ltd, expressed excitement about the project, stating, "This project underscores our unwavering commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development. We are proud to contribute to Maharashtra's clean energy goals and play an active role in India’s transition to a greener future."

The project is expected to generate approximately ₹700 crore in revenue, creating lasting value for rural communities and reinforcing the company’s leadership in the green energy consulting space. This milestone marks a significant achievement for CCSPL in delivering high-impact, sustainable infrastructure solutions.
