CleanMax Achieves Major Renewable Energy Milestone with 500 MW+ Q1FY27 Commissioning.

CleanMax Achieves Major Renewable Energy Milestone with 500 MW+ Q1FY27 Commissioning.

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Ltd (CleanMax) has commissioned around 530 MW of renewable energy capacity in the first quarter of FY27, marking its highest-ever quarterly capacity addition.

The record commissioning has increased CleanMax’s operational renewable energy portfolio from around 3.6 GW as of March 2026 to approximately 4.2 GW, strengthening the company’s position in India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy segment.

The company said the milestone reflects the growing adoption of renewable energy among corporate consumers and its ability to execute large-scale projects across solar, wind and hybrid energy platforms.

CleanMax’s operational renewable energy portfolio now comprises around 3.5 GW under its renewable energy power sales business and around 0.7 GW under its renewable energy services business.

During Q1 FY27, the company added 403 MW to its RE Power Sales portfolio, including around 350 MWp of solar capacity and 53 MW of wind capacity. The addition included projects owned or co-owned by CleanMax, including group captive projects with customer equity participation under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) and energy attribute purchase agreements (EAPAs).

The company also commissioned 126 MWp of solar capacity under its RE Services business, where CleanMax provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance services while the assets are owned by C&I customers.

The largest capacity additions during the quarter came from Gujarat with around 170 MW, Karnataka with around 160 MW and Maharashtra with around 110 MW. Additional capacity was commissioned across Haryana and Chhattisgarh, with the overall expansion delivered across 11 project sites in five states.

"Crossing 500 MW of commissioning in a single quarter reflects the scale of demand we are seeing from commercial and industrial customers. It also marks an important expansion of our operating portfolio and the long-term partnerships that underpin it," said Kuldeep Jain, Founder and Managing Director, CleanMax.

He added that the company will continue to focus on timely execution and supporting customers in their transition towards renewable energy.

CleanMax said recent customer additions include large technology, data centre and industrial companies such as Meta, Apple, STT GDC India, Iron Mountain Data Centers, Princeton Digital Group, CEAT and Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL), highlighting increasing demand for clean energy solutions among C&I consumers.
