Coca-Cola to Invest ₹2,398 Crore in New Telangana Plant.

Multinational beverages giant Coca-Cola will invest ₹2,398 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant in Telangana, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced recently.

The announcement followed a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Industrial Promotion, which cleared several major investment proposals aimed at boosting the state's industrial growth.

Among the approved proposals was Toshiba Transmission and Distribution System’s plan to set up a ₹562-crore gas-insulated switchgear and bushings manufacturing facility in Telangana.

The committee also gave the green light to JSW UAV Ltd to establish a new unit in Maheshwaram, Hyderabad, with an investment of ₹785 crore, according to an official government release.

These investments are expected to significantly contribute to Telangana’s industrial development and job creation in the coming years.
