Cremica Group to develop food park in Himachal Pradesh.

Diversified food products player Cremica Group is developing a food park in Himachal Pradesh with an outlay of about Rs. 100 crore. Among others, it is focusing on processing of tomatoes, according to Akshay Bector, managing director of the group.

'We are working towards sprucing up the facilities for processing tomatoes, which would find a use in concentrations. This could mean an investment of Rs. 25 crore. The food park would be developed in about 18 to 24 months,' he said.

'The focus is on creation of facilities for preservation of perishables,' he said adding that it is also developing a facility for ketchups and mayonnaise at Mumbai.

Its condiments segment, which includes ketchup and others, is likely to clock Rs. 225 crore revenues this year, he said.
