Crompton Secures ₹445 Crore Solar Rooftop Project from NREDCAP in Andhra Pradesh

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (CGCEL) announced that it has secured a ₹445.03 crore tender from the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) to implement solar rooftop systems under the PM-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna.

According to a regulatory filing, the project entails solarizing over 40,000 households in Andhra Pradesh with 2 kW on-grid rooftop systems, totaling 77.40 MWp. CGCEL has received a letter of award for EPC contracts covering design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of operations and maintenance.
