CtrlS Datacenters, NTPC Green Partner on 2 GW+ Renewable Power Projects.

CtrlS Datacenters announced recently that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) to jointly develop grid-connected renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of up to 2 GW or more.

The MoU was signed by Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder & CEO of CtrlS, and Sarit Maheshwari, CEO of NGEL.

Under the agreement, CtrlS and NGEL plan to establish renewable energy projects through greenfield development and/or acquisitions. The energy generated will be supplied to CtrlS for captive consumption or used for any other mutually agreed business purposes.

The MoU is initially valid for two years, with an option to extend further, according to the company statement.
