Danube Industries Attracts ₹472 Crore Strategic Investment from Fox Petroleum Group.

Listed company Danube Industries Ltd recently said it will receive a $50 million (approximately ₹472 crore) investment from New Delhi-based Fox Petroleum Group, in a move that signals a strategic shift toward technology-led businesses including artificial intelligence and defence.

The proposed investment will be infused in two tranches of $25 million each, with Fox Petroleum Group set to come in as a strategic investor and growth partner, subject to regulatory and corporate approvals.

The company said the funding marks the beginning of a broader partnership aimed at accelerating its expansion into emerging technology sectors. As part of the development, Danube Industries is also planning a name change to Fox Danube Technologies Ltd and has already filed an application with the Registrar of Companies (RoC.

“It is a strategic partnership and so we will not be selling any stake. We will be part of the Fox Petroleum Group and we have applied to the RoC for changing our name to Fox Danube Technologies Ltd. The company will soon be renamed. The money will be invested through the direct FDI route,” Sunil Rajdev, Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Danube Industries, said.

Rajdev added that Fox Capital and Investment Ltd, the parent entity of Fox Petroleum Group, will be making the investment.

The deal positions Danube Industries for a broader transition into advanced technology businesses as part of its long-term growth strategy.
