"Delhi Metro Awards AFC System Contract to Aurionpro Solutions"

Aurionpro Solutions Limited has secured a significant contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) to supply Automated Fare Collection (AFC) technology and equipment for its Phase I, II, and III networks. The Mumbai-based technology company will provide automated gates, validators, and card readers for various operational sectors of DMRC.

The equipment will be manufactured at Aurionpro’s Ghaziabad facility, contributing to the government’s "Make in India" initiative. This marks Aurionpro’s second major metro project in India, following its recent contract with Chennai Metro.

Sanjay Bali, President & Global Head of the Tech Innovation Group at Aurionpro Solutions, emphasized the project's importance in strengthening the company’s presence in India’s smart transit sector. He noted that the AFC systems, including gates, validators, and payment card readers, would be indigenously developed.
