DESCO Infratech Ltd Signs MoU with KP Group for Hydrogen-Natural Gas Blending Projects.

DESCO Infratech Limited announced on October 16, 2025, that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Private Limited and Naveriya Gas Pvt. Ltd to collaborate on hydrogen-natural gas blending projects and related infrastructure development.

The strategic partnership aims to explore and implement blending of green hydrogen with natural gas, a critical step in India’s clean energy transition and decarbonization efforts.

Under the agreement:

  KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Private Limited will handle project investments and financial commitments, including renewable energy and green hydrogen infrastructure development.

  DESCO Infratech will serve as the technology partner, leveraging its expertise in hydrogen generation, compression, blending, and delivery systems.

  Naveriya Gas Pvt. Ltd will contribute its experience in city gas distribution and natural gas pipeline infrastructure.

  
  

Beyond blending initiatives, the partners will jointly explore opportunities to establish hydrogen compressor stations to support vehicular fuel infrastructure along national highways.
