DeVANS Expands Production Capacity Through Assam Brewery Partnership
DeVANS Modern Breweries has strengthened its nationwide presence through a strategic production partnership with a major brewery in Assam, further expanding its operations in the Northeast. This new collaboration boosts DeVANS' production capacity to 1,90,600 KL, adding over 10 lakh cases annually. The Assam tie-up follows the company’s successful partnerships in Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
Prem Dewan, Chairman and Managing Director of DeVANS, highlighted the significance of the expansion, stating, "Assam is a dynamic market with significant growth potential in the brewing industry. This partnership enables us to efficiently serve local demand while maintaining our commitment to quality and taste." He added that this move marks a key milestone in the company’s goal to bring expertly crafted beverages to consumers.
DeVANS, known for producing malt spirits and beers, operates two breweries and two distilleries across Jammu, in locations such as Samba, Kotputli, and Bohri. The company is also preparing to introduce new products, including a premium craft gin and new expressions of its single malt, GianChand whisky. In its latest product launch, DeVANS entered the Premium Lager Segment with two beers: Six Fields Brute (up to 8% ABV) and Six Fields Pilsner (up to 5% ABV).
With operations across 18 states, mostly in the North and East, and a presence in Pondicherry in the South, DeVANS also exports to markets such as New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore, UAE, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
