"Dilip Buildcon Wins ₹3,400 Crore Contract to Construct Ganga Path Road in Bihar"
Dilip Buildcon Limited announced on recently that it has received a letter of award from Adani Road Transport Limited for a ₹3,400 crore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project to build the Ganga Path road connecting Sultanganj, Bhagalpur, and Sabour in Bihar.
The project will be executed on a back-to-back basis, with the Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited serving as the employer.
Project Scope and Timeline
The contract includes the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of a 41.09-km road stretch. The construction period is 42 months from the commencement date, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
Other Recent Orders
In a separate development, Dilip Buildcon has also been declared the L-1 bidder by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited for establishing a 400 kV substation at Mekhali, along with associated transmission lines in Belagavi district, Karnataka. The project involves setting up a 400/220/33 kV air-insulated substation and related 400 kV and 220 kV transmission lines.
Additionally, on November 28, the company secured a letter of acceptance worth ₹879.30 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the four-laning of the 46.665-km Paramakudi–Ramanathapuram section of NH-87 in Tamil Nadu.
