Dixon Technologies Aims for ₹1,500 Crore Revenue from New Chennai Plant This Fiscal.
Dixon Technologies (India) Limited, the Delhi-based Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) powerhouse, has announced the successful completion of pilot runs and the commencement of mass production at its dedicated IT hardware manufacturing unit in Chennai. The facility is poised for a significant ramp-up in production for both HP and ASUS in the coming months.
According to Atul B Lall, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Dixon Technologies, production for Lenovo at the new plant has already scaled up to nearly 30,000 units per month, supported by a robust order book for the upcoming period. Lall shared these updates with analysts during a conference call to discuss the company's fourth-quarter financial results.
Looking ahead, Lall expressed optimistic revenue projections for the Chennai facility. "We are expecting revenue of ₹1,200 crore to ₹1,500 crore from the Chennai facility in the current fiscal," he stated, highlighting the plant's anticipated contribution to the company's overall growth.
